Here, I think it prudent to list a sort of key for people to look at, this may help your decisions as well as understanding the rules to creating a Character.

*Note, the 'Races' are picked by the players. Upon picking your race, your character sheet's stats will be upgraded depending upon the stat upgrades. (All races gain 10 stat points {Except human which only gains 5}) (All races have a total number of 95 health and manna points {Except human, which only has 70})

**Note, the 'Descents' stat gains are acquired by being sired. Once you have been sired into one of the three descents, then you get those stat upgrades. (All descents gain 21 stat points) (All descents gain 40 points to add on to health an manna increases per level)

Now, I worked a great deal on this so mind your head when you list comments. It operates under a basic cycle.

When your character sheet is approved, you are allowed to create a character. The player will talk to me, as I am the head of this whole character deal. They have 52 stat points to distribute. Here are the rules.

  • Only three attributes can go up to 8
  • Every attribute must at least have 2 points into it

So it's quite simple, and the best part? You, get to decide what you want. After choosing those stats, a player's race will come into play. So if the player was an elf, I'd add the stats above to the options they gave me, to give them their total new stats, and edit it into their character sheet.

After they are sired, they will then gain those attributes listed under the name, as well as an increase in health and manna as though they gained a level. (But they don't!)

Here is an Example Case (We will be using me) just to knock out any other confusion. Wink

Desired Stats:

Armor Class - 4
Power - 7
Agility - 8
Endurance - 5
Intelligence - 5
Willpower - 2
Charm - 8
Magic Attack - 5
Magic Defense - 8

Now this is the first step. Notice that only three of my stats are set to 8. This is because I can only choose three attributes to go up that high in the beginning. So remember; you can set up to three attributes to 8. But this is optional, nobody says you have to have any attribute set to eight, it all depends on whether or not you wish for a more rounded off character. Also, each stat must contain a minimal value of 2. And as you can see every one of my stats has at least a value of two in the beginning. I'm going to be adding to them because of my race, descent, and element in the next examples. All in all, these are the base stats I have chosen for my character. They total 52 as will everybody's character in the beginning. (These are the stats that you the player get to choose in the beginning, so choose wisely!)


Race: Human.

~ Health: 65 (Gains 10 Each Level)
~ Mana: 5 (Gains 10 Each Level)

Armor Class - 4 + 0 [4]
Power - 7 + 0 [7]
Agility - 8 + 0 [8]
Endurance - 5 + 0 [5]
Intelligence - 5 + 2 [7]
Willpower - 2 + 3 [5]
Charm - 8 + 0 [8]
Magic Attack - 5 + 0 [5]
Magic Defense - 8 + 0 [8]

Now, this step we added the stat upgrades for my character being a human. So the numbers listed in parentheses are my new stats.


Armor Class - 4 + 0 [4]
Power - 7 + 0 [7]
Agility - 8 + 1 [9]
Endurance - 5 + 0 [5]
Intelligence - 7 + 1 [8]
Willpower - 5 + 0 [5]
Charm - 8 + 0 [8]
Magic Attack - 5 + 0 [5]
Magic Defense - 8 + 0 [8]

Now in this step we looked at the element my character has selected. Since I am air, I get a +1 to both Agility and Intelligence, and so I have added them here.


~ Health: 65 + 20 [85] (Gains 10 + 20 [30] Each Level)
~ Mana: 5 + 20 [25] (Gains 10 + 30 [30] Each Level)

Armor Class - 4 + 2 [6]
Power - 7 + 2 [9]
Agility - 9 + 5 [14]
Endurance - 5 + 2 [7]
Intelligence - 8 + 4 [12]
Willpower - 5 + 0 [5]
Charm - 8 + 5 [13]
Magic Attack - 5 + 1 [6]
Magic Defense - 8 + 0 [8]

This final step was my being sired into a vampire. So, I now gain the stat advantages of that descent, and have added them the same way as above.
