The people she tends to often call her Miss Will’a’mina, pronouncing it incorrectly. One man she met in a small village in Bristan inexplicably called her June, much to her confusion. But seriously. Call her Will.

Brief History: Will lived with her parents for some time, in their generously sized home that sat in the center of a river village in Bristan. With Will’s decent dowry, she had many suitors, all of which she rejected. Her mother, grew irritated with her, and arranged a marriage with another wealthy family’s eldest son. Although Will was stubbornly against the whole idea, she swallowed her pride (and disgust) and married the man when she was not fifteen and a day. Will grew used to her husband, whose name was Harold Dowd, even came to love him. But, quite suddenly, not a month after their first anniversary, Harold grew sick with influenza, and his addiction to opium certainly did not help him. Will tried to heal him, but fate was against her, and Harold died in a fitful sleep while Will wept by his bedside.
Will left Bristan, telling her family she would write them when she reached where she was headed. She traveled to the shore, and caught a boat to Thea. She stopped at various villages throughout her travels, and finally settled in a farming village, tending their sick and any wounded who wandered her way. She is well loved amongst the village folk. The elderly are kind to her, the children adore her, and every life she’s touched has brightened, at least for a while.
