Scars/markings: One long scar on her back from tip of shoulder blade to lower back. Three parallel scars on her left arm. Scar on right arm that wraps around her entire arm in a swirl. Vampire bite marks on her upper left bicep, though not exactly bites...more like gashes, another at the hollow of her neck.
Piercing: None.
Attire: black leggings, red tunic, and long black or red cape that swishes around her reinforced riding boots.
Weapons: Prized crossbow that her father gave her. Two blades enchanted to make full use of her powers. Two daggers strapped to her wrists, one to her hip and another strapped to her thigh.
Birthplace: Outside of Bristan.
Present Home: Anywhere she kind a safe place to sleep.
Job: Mercenary/Assassin

Personality: Short tempered, yet easily amused. Deadly on the battle field, she uses a deadly combination of sword play and black magic. She sides with the Chaos Killers because of one simple fact that her parents were killed in battle by pure blood vampires on the side of Chaos. She improved her skill in the hopes of killing every Chaos Vampire in Tyrand.

A Not So Brief History: Luna and her family lived in a small village just south of Bristan, less then a mile from the beach. Luna's life was pretty much normal up until she was about 100 (Divide by 10 and get human years.). Then her parents, both powerful Mages, went off to fight in the war; leaving Luna and her fraternal twin, Rainie, in the care of her best friend’s family. Their parents never came back; they didn’t know anything until Luna was 120 when a man from their parents battalion came knocking on Shade’s door. The news he brought was dark, Luna and Rainie’s parents had been killed battle valiantly for their side. They’d been killed and drained by Vampires. Luna got along well with Shades family but they couldn’t replace her real parents. As such she was often off on her own, wandering aimlessly about the village and in the forests beyond. She and Rainie were extremely close, and the two were typically together when Luna wasn't wandering around on her own. One day when she was about 150 the island was attacked by Pure blood Vampires. The three of them were awoken to the sounds of screaming. Luna was out of bed and out of the door with Rainie and Shade on her heels.

What met them was a grizzly sight. Fire was ravaging the area, and Vampires were running free. There were over 3 dozen of them attacking the small village. Luna's sword was out and instantly slashing the nearest Vampire. The three of them had been training for years but none of them were prepared for an attack of this magnitude. They were quickly separated and encircled. Luna, with a cry of rage, sank into a trance of mindless attacking. When she stopped breathing heavily and barely able to hold her swords she sank against a wall and tried to regain some of her strength. She had destroyed most of the Vampires that had encircled her and was totally exhausted. The sword in hand seemed to weigh more then she could handle and she returned it to it’s sheath even as the fire ravaged all around her, no more vampires appeared and all. All around her were the bodies of Vampires and the innocents whom they had killed mercilessly.

Rainie. Shade. The thought came to her and she pushed herself off the wall and set off to look for them. She found Shade still in the middle of battle slowly wearing down as the Vampires kept up their barrage on him. She found a surge of energy then and launched into battle beside him together they managed to fend them off. The two of them exchanged a brief look of silent communication and they both knew what to do and nodded at each other before setting off towards the north were they both had seen Rainie heading, about an hour before.

They were getting close enough to Rainie to where Luna could get a feel for what was going on with Rainie. As usual they were in similar states of mind and body. Luna caught a glance at her self on a shattered mirror and stopped. The person she saw there didn’t match up with who she was. This girl, the one staring back, had blood splattered across her face and arms. But despite the obvious fatigue all over her features, there was a glow of grim determination shining in her eyes, and there seemed to be a strange power emanating from within her. She looked like her mother. The thought shocked her and the only thing that brought her back was Shade pushing her forward suddenly. Luna shook her head and raced ahead eager to catch up with Rainie and find out if she was feeling this too.

About a minute later they hit the outskirts of the village.

Something is wrong. Luna thought suddenly stepping up the pace from a jog to a full on sprint. Two minutes later she was nearly knocked to the ground by a sudden pain in her chest and a scream ripped itself from her throat, without any permission or bidding from her mind. In the immediate area Luna heard Rainie’s cry of pain mirroring her own.

RAINIE! Luna’s mind screamed forcing her to her feet again her whole body ached but that didn’t stop her. She ran, following Rainie’s screams, until she turned a corner and there was Rainie being dragged towards the woods. A ferocious battle cry emitted from Luna and she lurched forward yanking her crossbow from her back and firing at the first Vampire in her line of sight. The arrow found its mark in the Vampires chest but Luna hadn’t seen it land because she had already replaced the crossbow and was running at the Vampires with both swords drawn. She didn’t make it to Rainie because two of the Vampires broke off and as one grabbed her holding her in place as she barked a command at Shade to go after Rainie and not her. He didn’t get that far either. The other Vampire grabbed him and twisted his arms behind his back, then leaned down and spoke in his ear. Shade stopped struggling then and looked forward, shell-shocked. She screamed again, this time in rage as she attacked the Vampire holding her with all she had the Vampire laughed and sank it’s fangs into her neck. It was a scream of pain mingled with rage that came from her at that point. She could hear Rainie being taken away and she knew if something didn’t happen all three of them would die. Her body was at it’s lowest point and she knew that her knees had given out beneath her. She was going to die. Rainie was going to die. Shade was going to die. All of them were going to die at the hands of these Vampires. Suddenly just as she was about to give up and give in to her fate she felt something in the core of her being calling to her. A coil of untapped and vengeful power in the center of her being, calling to her: Use me. I can help you.She reached out and grabbed it without hesitation. Then she felt her whole body fill with a warm light and felt the Vampire lose its grip on her and stagger backwards. She turned on it feeling the power and it’s want to be used she pulled out her blade and sliced his head clean off. Then she turned her eyes on the Vampire holding Shade, definite shockingly blue eyes set on his crimson one’s and he released Shade and ran for his pathetic life.

“RAINIE!” Luna screamed seeing that her twin was gone. She ran into the forest, not caring if Shade was following her or not. She raced though the forest screaming for Rainie and not getting any response. She stopped in the middle of the woods feeling, hopelessness crashing over her and the power ebb from her, still there but just out of her reach, as her body past the point of full exhaustion. She collapsed on the forest ground which was when she realized Shade hadn’t followed. She wanted to stand and search for him but couldn’t get up. She lay on the ground exhaustion crashing over her in waves; she could feel the bites now. One on her neck and another on her arm, she wasn’t sure of when that had taken place though. Her last thoughts on the horrible day were:

Rainie, my twin, is gone. As good as dead. Tonight I swear by the blood I’ve shed I’ll find those responsible for this and kill them. Then she was taken into an exhausted, coma-like sleep.

When she next awoke it was late the next day and she turned her back on the woods and returned to her village in a trance like state. She headed for Shade’s house not registering that it wasn’t there until she reached for the door handle. Then she snapped out of her trance to see the house was burned to the ground. She could see the charred remains of two people within. Shade! She thought and grabbed the nearest person asking her where Shade was. She said that he had stared at his house for over an hour, silent tears falling from his face and then he’d turn and run off. No one had seen him since.


Luna left her village that day, off in search of Shade a place that didn’t hold memories of her old life. She wanted to forget what had happened. Never return home where the memories of her family and Shade’s family would haunt her. She roams Tyrand now. Doing what she must to stay alive.

Tyranise: Luna was taught this a a child by her birth parent. They found it important to for her to know a Language that everyone on Tyrand spoke. This is her native Language. Though she doesn't use it much, because she favors D'Elenari and Oseri and Nagoleasian to it. Mastered.
D' Elenari: This was taught to Luna by Shade's parents. Though they refused to teach her Nagoleasian taking a nuteral side in the conflict rather then sideing. Though this infuriated Luna and Shade to no end. Mastered.

Nagoleasian:Taught to Luna and Shade by an elder of the village as both a definace to his parents and a pledge to work for the side they both wished to fight for before being ripped apart. Mastered.

Oseri: After the battle the destoryed their village Luna was wandering fabout the forest looking for a good place to sleep the wasn't drenched from recent rain. While she was looking she noticed a strange symbol carved into a tree, she was surprised to know she knew what the symbol ment. After probing for a short while she found a whole Language that she could never recall being taught...but then she could remember a time when she had heard her mother tell her there was a Language that was native to Mages and that they knew it after being awakened. She had heard her father and mother speak it only once, but knew it was the that Language she was speaking. This revleation was followed by much confusion on Luna's part before she figured out that on the night of the destruction of the village the power she had felt had been that of the mage and that she had awakened herself. Mastered.

Murdrockian:Luna taught this to herself after wandering though Murdock several times. It's a bit shakey when she speaks it and hasn't matered it yet.

would you like me to DRAW it on there? And it's your pic so shuddup. I was using that as a basic thing and building off of it. It's not like I could find one with exactly what I wanted on it. So I blended two things.

I picked the picture b/c it screamed Lu at me when I saw it. >> Why do you want those ugly scars ne ways? You should totally make a mage healing power and say you got rid of 'em. Tattoos r cool for your charrie tho...I always imagined Lu with them somewhere. *Nods*

Because I don't want Lu to give off a perfect image. I want there to be something a little off about her, something that won't allow people to be totally at ease around her unless they know her well.
