Here’s how all of these are going to go…Simply put, any thread under the ‘In Character’ category has the potential to gain you a new power.

Start a thread or join another, any that you like. Somewhere in the thread, role play your character gaining a new power. If you want your mage to learn a fire ball power, you must role play learning it.

Restrictions: Some power gains will be restricted. For example, powers will be created and with limits. Ie, you must be a certain level to gain this power or be a particular race.
Powers can be suggested, but will not always be used.
A maximum of two powers may be learned per thread.
Quests can be combined, Ie, you can be in a property quest and learn a power as well.

Participants: Open to All Mages

Rewards: The power that you learned in the thread and 2 X (the level you must be to get the power.) (Ie, if you learn a level 3 power, you will be awarded 6k experience when your done!)

Once you have learned the power, the thread doesn’t necessarily have to be completed, contact an admin with this information…

Expand senses: A basic power that gives you a mage the ability to cast their senses out and pull them back in, allowing them to gather a feeling for the area and the beings around them. - (Level: 1)

Scan: The ability for a mage to determine the power level and descents of other beings, sometimes identifying specific bloodlines. - (Level: 1)

Reading: This unique power gives the mage the ability to read other peoples' auras, or emotions. - (Level:2)

Bind Grade 1: Low level trapping spell that puts target in a temporary state of paralysis. - (Level:1)

Bind Grade 2: A more average leveled spell, this allows a mage to put a target in a more concrete and painful binding state. - (Level:5)

Fireball: Allows the mage to conjure a small flame in one hand, and gradually grow it into a large fireball to be fired at whatever target. - (Level:6)

Tidel Wave: Smaller waves are formed to become larger tidal waves which you can do what you will with. - (Level:6)

Tornado: Gives a mage the ability to manipulate the air around them and create a tornado. Usually they place themselves in the eye unharmed and chase after their opponent; they can launch it at another as a missile; or even form it around the opponent as a harmful barrier. - (Level:6)

Earthquake: Causes the ground to shake and can be anywhere from a small tremor to an off the scale kinda thing. - (Level:6)

Landslide: Often used after Earthquake, and is more effective on hill. Land falls away on a slope destroying everything in it's path. - (Level:8 Must have Earthquake)

Fire Projection: The ability to stare at something and willing it to catch fire. - (Level:5)

Catastrophe: Requires the abilities of four powerful Mages, one of each element, and each uses a high level attack of their element to bombard a target strong or weak and leave it open to other attacks from say, a werewolf. Very useful in battle. - (Level: 9)
